CHRISTMAS POSTING TIME

Look it's a ukulele!

a lil bit of shameless self promotion never hurt anyone.

so, what to say. now that I've found out that a grand total of 2 people I don't know read my blog, I feel obligated to post more often. Maybe it's good for me, this could be kind of a release from the stress-induced death that finals tend to bring.

christmas!

christmas christmas!

it's here! sort of. there are still 13 days until I'm free of finals, and a few more until I actually get to have the joy of a giant family reunion, but it's on it's way! There's supposed to be a snowstorm today. yay!

coming up next: my up to date from last year list of the top 10 reasons I love the holiday season.

love.

The World and I

The world is spinning in circles
Is that the way it was meant to be?
I can't tell left from right
up from down
front from back

You'd be insane not to feel it.
After all, the world does, scientifically, spin.
Then why am I the crazy one?

I am tired of summer.

The summer has become tiresome; although I suppose tiresome probably isn't the right word. Boring, long, repetitive, lifeless, insipid, seemingly interminable. Summer is just dragging on and on; without a task to occupy my days, I'm noticing it more now than ever before. I need something to do. Something to occupy my mind and body from 9 to 5 Monday to Friday. It would be wonderful if it paid, as I could desperately use the money, but at this point, it's not even necessary for me. I just need something. Because without something, the days drag on, and I feel like I'm accomplishing nothing. Sitting at home, day in and and day out, waiting for 5 o clock to roll around so that I can find someone else to do nothing with. I want Montreal back.
